A AutoShorts alternative for story shorts
If AutoShorts is not working for your channel, this is what Hushline does differently. AutoShorts presents itself as a TikTok and YouTube auto-poster with series. It publishes little detail, so we can say what it is for and very little about how it works or what it costs. Hushline is for channels that want a written story, a real video clip on every beat and a recurring host, with the price shown up front.
AutoShorts publishes little detail and its pricing page could not be read, so most of this table is unknown. We would rather leave a cell empty than guess.

AutoShorts facts were read from its public pages on 6 October 2026; each links to the page it came from. "Unknown" means we did not find the point stated, not that the tool lacks it. Prices change: check the tool's own page before you buy. Found a mistake? Email hello@hushline.ai and we will correct it.
Why channels look for an alternative
- Most of what a buyer needs to compare, such as price, redo policy and refund terms, is not on its pages in a form we could read.
- If you want a story channel rather than a generic faceless one, a story-first tool gives you more control over the writing.
Where Hushline fits
Hushline shows its terms: a free draft, packs at $29, $69 and $149, three free redos and a 30-day refund on unused credits. It writes the story from your premise and films every beat as real video, and a host keeps one face and voice across the channel.
When to stay with AutoShorts
Stay with AutoShorts if it posts to the platforms you need and its sample shorts match the look you want.
AutoShorts wins if hands-off posting is the point: it is positioned around posting and series to TikTok and YouTube. Hushline posts only to a connected YouTube channel. We could not read its price or features in detail, so do your own check of what it makes before you pay, and compare its sample shorts with ours.
